Crystals - Stones that can help you heal your life
My story....
After I completed my Reiki Level One course in early 2002, I was introduced to the incredible world of crystals. This happened during a trip to Arizona to visit a good friend and fellow healer. She opened up a new and different world (as my exposure to stones up to this point being raised in the inner city was those rocks that came from the vacant lots or pieces of red brick which we used as chalk to draw with on the black macadam of the city streets to play hopscotch or poison block (I guess I am dating myself a tad here!). On this trip she took me to the Quartzite Gem & Mineral Show (which is a gathering of many rock and mineral vendors and miners, in what seemed to me at the time, to be the middle of nowhere. Thus I began a remarkable journey of discovery which forever changed how I view and relate to these "stones" of the earth.
As a natural progression of my desire to bring healing and comfort to those struggling with many varied physical, emotional, and mental health issues or "dis-eases", I began to learn about crystals, both intellectually and metaphysically. I then began to incorporate them into my healing sessions for my self and my clients (when appropriate). Many crystals help a person reduce stress levels which can have a major impact on your health.
Recently, I was inspired to design what I now referred to as "Natural Healing Stones" which are handcrafted custom designed pieces of jewelry. Each piece is created using natural gemstones (crystals) in particular combinations for a specific purpose. The piece (in most cases) can be worn as often as everyday. The crystals work to reorganize and restore "dis-ease" of what is sometimes referred to as the body's energetic system balance. Often this involves removing energetic blockages created when you are exposed to negativity. When your energy system balance is restored, the body can and does heal itself.
To simplify choosing what piece to select I have especially designed my pieces to assist with a particular issue. However, if you are drawn to something else... trust that is for a GOOD reason. When this happens I recommend you do a bit of research to "look up" the beneficial properties of the stone(s) you feel attracted to determine why this might be. (You will be quite surprised... I promise you!) This is because we are all born with intuitive abilities and that part of who we are always "knows" what is for our good, IF we listen & heed it . How many times have you second guessed yourself... and lived to regret it later. Well, the first "feeling" you ignored was coming from that intuitive side. Learning to trust in this part of who you are is not always easy, but if you can you will be better off for it!
